Our fall blend, Dulce o Truco, is a sweet little trick of its own: playful, layered, and rooted in the cultural crossover between Colombia and the U.S. Around this time of year, we find inspiration in how Halloween traditions show up differently across these two places, and how they’ve shaped our own rhythms. It’s a season full of shared stories, neighborhood celebrations, and cozy shifts in pace—something we wanted to reflect in both flavor and feeling.
The blend brings together three coffees from three places we know well: Colombia, Guatemala, and Panama. Each origin brings something unique to the cup—structure, sweetness, and a little pop of fruitiness. Together they form a profile that’s comforting but not predictable. You’ll taste notes of chocolate and nougat, with a vibrant pop of raspberry that lifts the cup and gives it some character. We also decided to develop this coffee slightly more than our others, so those that appreciate a solid Medium roast will naturally gravitate towards this blend.
We are also excited to have workied with Colombian artist Carolina Isaza to create the label art– an expressive watercolor that reflects our roots and the traditions we carry into each season at Futura. This coffee is a celebration of fall as we experience it: cross-cultural, generous, and full of small surprises.
