Felipe Sardi, Elisa Madriñan, Sebastian Villamizar (Colombia) – Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. in a beautiful piece of land—surrounded by lush forests, with excellent water access and well-preserved land. The farm's abundant shade is especially important allowing them to be more resilient during periods when water is scarce as there is only one harvest season, and the dry season lasts a long time. The SL-28, a drought-resistant variety developed in Kenya, the region’s climate made it a suitable choice. The SL-28 adapted exceptionally well. They planted the farm in 2017, and their first harvest took place at the end of 2020. SL-28 has always been one of their favorite varieties offering an exotic flavor profile.

Carolyn Saraceni (Panama) –a dedicated 25-year-old producer, has renovated her family’s farm, at 1500 MASL, Finca Estrella, in Boquete with her father’s help, improving coffee quality and uplifting the local community.
