This special three-pack (10oz per pack) features single-origin coffees from three remarkable farmers, each with a unique story and deep connection to the land.

  • Felipe Sardi, Elisa Madriñan, Sebastian Villamizar (Colombia) – Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. in a beautiful piece of land—surrounded by lush forests, with excellent water access and well-preserved land. The farm's abundant shade is especially important allowing them to be more resilient during periods when water is scarce as there is only one harvest season, and the dry season lasts a long time.  The SL-28, a drought-resistant variety developed in Kenya, the region’s climate made it a suitable choice. The SL-28 adapted exceptionally well. They planted the farm in 2017, and their first harvest took place at the end of 2020. SL-28 has always been one of their favorite varieties offering an exotic flavor profile.

  • Faustino Reyes (Colombia) – I (CJ, co-founder of Futura) had my first opportunity to travel to Colombia 11 years ago in 2014. I met, Faustino Reyes from the Neighbors and Crops program on his farm, La Floresta. It is extremely exciting to me to circle back all of these years and see Faustino’s name on a bag of Futura Coffee. This coffee not only represents quality in the cup, but exemplifies the grit and dedication it takes to produce coffee in an ever changing climate and marketplace.  La Floresta is an adopter of La Palma and Biodiversal’s regenerative agriculture initiatives in the area. Faustino s a dedicated composter, using as much organic material as possible to develop niutrient rich compost to limit the use of any chemical fertilizers and pesticides. He has seen the value that regenerative agriculture has played in his farm’s resiliency and along with the team at La Palma, the quality of his coffee in the cup has only improved over the years. This coffee is processed via Lactic Fermentation. The result is often an intensely sweet coffee with a very creamy texture. You will notice a lot of fruit notes coupled with that silky mouthfeel you would get when eating raspberries and cream.

  • Margoth Fuentes (Panama) –Margoth, like many coffee producers, has been a part of the coffee industry since birth with deep familial ties to farming in Panama. The 34 year old farmer and her husband, Mario Guillen, recently inherited the Maya Coffee Estate in Alto Jaramillo, Panama, a farm that was started in 1988. Spanning 6 hectares with an elevation of 1500 to 1690 meters above sea level. Margoth’s passion for sustainable practices is evident in their use of eco-friendly inputs, organic fertilizers, and biological technologies, ensuring harmony with the surrounding biodiversity.
In addition, 3% of Futura’s sales are dedicated to supporting regenerative agriculture projects in Colombia through our sister brand, Biodiversal. We've contributed to bean and cassava harvests for over 50 coffee-growing families in Tolima and Cundinamarca and supported Biochar initiatives benefiting more than 70 families in Pitalito, Huila.

Discover the depth of flavor and heritage behind each cup. Experience the dedication of these farmers, who are not only growing extraordinary coffee but also creating a sustainable future for their communities.
